Microsoft Excel is a software program used to create spreadsheets, which are documents in which data is laid out in rows and columns — like a big table. It is often used with numbers and graphing, but has a vast set of applications.
Excel Microsoft features calculation, graphing tools, tables, and a macro programming language.
At Landon it is used by students in math and science when creating visual depictions of numerical information.
It is a useful program that can be a bit tricky to navigate if you only use it occasionally, but it is worthwhile to get to know it well.
